For boys & girls 5 to 14 @ Red Devil Stadium. Registration on-going at the Rec Center and one half-hour prior to start time for the age groups. Age is determined by age on December 31st, 2009 -- 9 to 14 year-olds begin @ 9 AM -- 5 to 8 year-olds @ 1 PM
Events include the 50 meter dash, 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 400 meter dash, 800 meter run, standing long jump, softball throw and 400 meter relay race.. The top 2 finishers in each event for the 9 to 14 year-olds will advance to the State Meet on June 20th, also right here in Evanston. State winners will be entered into a regional pool, and become eligible for a regional team that will travel to Hershey, PA on Saturday, August 1st to compete in the Hershey's North American Final.
