Red Devil Football on KEVA (Homecoming)
The 1-3 (0-3) Evanston Red Devils play host to the 1-3 (0-1) Laramie Plainsmen for Homecoming 2008. Both teams' lone victory in the regular season was over the 5A North Casper Kelly Walsh Trojans, with Evanston coming from behind to defeat the Trojans 24-14 in week one in Evanston, and Laramie picking up their victory in Casper, 24-16 in week 3.
Evanston has dropped three straight since their zero week win over 4A Jackson and the KW victory, with all losses coming in conference play, 7-35 to the Wolves in Green River, followed by two heartbreakers, a 29-31 setback at Cheyenne East and an overtime 10-16 loss at home to the Rock Springs Tigers last week.
The Plainsmen lost @ East 6-19 to open the season, were defeated soundly by new #1 Sheridan 32-3 in Laramie, followed by the victory in Casper, and last week were blanked at home in the Gem City by Scottsbluff, Nebraska, 23-0.
The Red Devils are in dire need of a conference "W" with a return trip to Cheyenne to face the Central Indians @ Riske Field to close out their 5A South Conference run next Friday.
