Natrona County Mustangs @ EHS Red Devils

The 2nd ranked EvanstonRed Devils square off with the 4th ranked Natrona County Mustangs from Red Devil Stadium with a 7 o'clock kick-off tonight. Evanston picked up a rare victory in the Oil City last year, 26-21 thanks to some late game heroics by then sophomore Hazen Davis. All-time, the Mustangs hold the edge 7 wins to 2, and the Red Devils have never defeated Natrona in Evanston. The Red Devils won in Casper over the Kelly Walsh Trojans in week one last Friday 29 to 15, while the previously #1 ranked Mustangs fell on the road to Rock Springs 17-14, scoring only twice while getting inside the Tiger 30 ten times. Steve Harshman will bring a hungry Mustang team into the ETown, and Natrona will not have a home game until week 4's Oil Bowl with cross-town rival Kelly Walsh. Will this be an offensive shoot-out? Or will it end like 2002's defensive struggle in a 6 to 2 Natrona County win? We'll find out tonight. Reporting from Evanston for the WyoPreps.com Prepline, I'm Mark Madia.

Pregame coverage will air at 6:30 leading into the 7 PM kick-off. Join "The Big Rig" Doug Rigby, Russ Anderson , Bill Smith & Mark Madia for all the action right here on 1240 AM Stereo KEVA.
