25th Annual Renewal Ball

The first Saturday in June marks the annual Evanston Urban Renewal Ball, and this years 25th anniversary promises to be the grandest party in the history of the Renewal Agency. Live music, fine dining, and a live and silent auction are just some of the features of this gala event. Get your tickets early!

Over the past twenty-four years, this annual fund raiser has raised over $700,000! The funds have been used towards the revitalization of Evanston's Historic Business District and Historic Depot Square. Proceeds have now been committed to the stabilization and development of the Roundhouse and Railyards.

Don't miss the live and silent auctions! Each year the Renewal Ball Committee places rare and valuable items up for bid. Antiques, historic photos, collectibles, dinners, trips, and orgincal art are just a few of the unique and sometimes unusual treasures that can be found. You never know what you what you will find, there is a memento for everyone. Check back here to see what is special this year.

The number of volunteers that work on the Renewal Ball Committee grows each year. These dedicated individuals spend countless hours working to pull it all together. Creating decorations, finding auction items, setting up bars, arranging food, designing and addressing hundreds of invitations and advertising, are just some of the many projects committees toil over months before the Ball. New acquaintances and friendships are made, partnerships are formed and a great sense of ownership is created for our community. Plus, it's just plain fun!

Please join us on Saturday, June 2, 2007, for the 25th Annual Evanston Urban Renewal Ball.
