06:00 PM Annual Parade of Lights-Downtown Holiday Open House

Decorated floats follow Santa through the downtown area putting a jingle in everyone's bell!

Downtown Merchants Association is sponsoring the Downtown Holiday Open House, come to Historic Downtown Evanston and visit participating merchants as they stay open extended hours to preview new items for the Holiday season.

 Be sure to catch the Holiday Light Parade sponsored by the Evanston Jaycees, as it starts at 6 p.m. in McDonald’s parking lot and heads down Front Street to 8th Street and continues down Main Street to the Post Office.  To participate or for more information contact Dawn Darby at 679-2882 or dadarby@roadrunner.com     

06:00 PM Lady Red Devil-Red Devil Hoops Doubleheader

Live coverage from the McDonald's Classic in Cheyenne where the Red Devils & Lady Red Devils open the 2007-2008 season. Evanston will play Laramie, Cheyenne East & Cheyenne Central, non-conference opponents for the first season in quite some time. With the new conference alignment, Evanston will be joined in the 4A West by Star Valley, Green River, Rock Springs, Casper Kelly Walsh & Natrona County. 06:30 PM Lady Red Devils 54 Douglas Lady Bearcats 44

Senior Stephanie Lee scored a game-high and career high 22 points to lead the Lady Red Devils to 10 point victory over the 3A Lady Bearcats of Douglas; Steph hit Evanston's lone 3 pointer, to go along with 6 field goals and 7-10 shooting from the free-throw line. Seniors Ashley Davis and Nicole Kallas also reached double-digits with 13 & 10 points, respectively.

Evanston jumped out to an 8-0 lead, only to see Douglas storm back to take the lead, behind 3 from downtown and 11 first quarter points from Bearcat Senior Rachel Saunders, who would show the way for Douglas with 13. Senior Kelsey Scott chipped in 11, with 9 second half points. There were 3 ties and 3 lead changes, but Evanston lead at every quarter break, 15-14, 23-19, 37-26 with the final score of 54-44.
