UCEDC Board Member Training
Monday, November 19, 2007 ~ The Uinta County Economic Development Commission Hosts Board Member Training

Community Leaders are found throughout the community you live in.  While you might point to people like the Mayor, Commissioners and City Council Members, you would be missing the majority of your Community Leaders.  They are found in the schools, hospitals, banks and restaurants.  They don’t get paid and they don’t seek recognition.  They are the members of local organizations that are focused on building a better community.  Organizations like The Chamber of Commerce, The Veterans Board, Community Emergency Response Teams, Boy/Girl Scouts, Youth Opportunities Unlimited, and other too numerous to mention in this limited space.

Are you one of those Leaders?  If so please join us in learning new skills, and making things happen.

The Uinta County Economic Development Commission is providing free training to everyone that wishes to attend.  Training that will increase the effectiveness of our Community Leaders in addressing the changes that the future holds.

All training will be provided by Align, a division of the Western States Learning Corporation.

Training will take place at B.O.C.E.S. located at 1013 Cheyenne Drive in Room 304 with sign in at 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  All you need to bring a note pad, pencil and an open mind.  Lunch will be provided.

Please R.S.V.P. as space is limited.  For more information and to reserve your seat, contact Dell Atkinson (307) 783-0378 or deatkinson@uintacounty.com
